Journey to Plentong

Plentong is an area that lies to the east of Johore Bahru city. Renouned as an industrial / residential area, it now boasts 1 new attraction on its calling card. Permas Jaya's loss of Permaskart is Plentong's gain but the trip there is certainly a bane. tucked deep within the verdant foilage of a palm oil plantation, the track through the plantation to reach the kart track is trying. One can travel at a maximum speed of 40, perhaps 50 km/h and a downpour could do real damage to the gravel topped track. Cows are known to frequent the area and hang around in menacing gangs by amd also on the road. Amongst the sineous growth of opportunistic trees, we can find derelict wrecks of cars that did not complete the trip.

Plentong, Johor Bahru Go Karting Track

Plentong is where the former track at Permas Jaya moved to.
Louis has designed a new track in the pristine surroundings of a remote oil palm plantation.

The journey there is an arduous 25 minutes over 4km of gravel track, where one will be treated to a safari of monkeys, grazing cows and 1 derelict car.

After undertaking this voyage into the verdant greenery of the Southern State, a beautifully designed go-kart track awaits the intrepid explorer who doesn;t shy away from pot holes, and rain eroded roads.
